We Love Summer!

My bestie Amber has her birthday the first week of June. A bunch of us ladies got together to celebrate her big #30 by going to The Melting Pot for cheese and chocolate (YUM!) and then to see Pitch Perfect 2 after. It was a blast.

Our girls had colds, but Michael was watching them by himself anyway. Lily suddenly took a turn for the worse and got croup! He was scared for her life! Luckily when I got home I just gave her ibuprofin, a popsicle (and she'd had lots of bathroom steam time with dad beforehand), and some love and that helped and we made it through the night fine to go to the doctor the next day to get her steroid shot. I was freaked out though and slept with her all night just in case. Being a parent is so scary sometimes!

8. What is her favorite thing to do? The Pirate Ride (Disneyland)

9. What does your mom do when you're not around? Go to the store

10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? My room.

11. What is your mom really good at? hugging. I Love you mom. (heart melts)

12. What is your mom not very good at? crying

13. What does your mom do for a job? TO open the door

14.What is your mom's favorite food? Strawberries

15.What makes you proud of your mom? Stay home

16. If your mom were a character, who would she be? A banana

17. What do you and your mom do together? Play

18. How are you and your mom the same? all girls

19. How are you and your mom different? bigger

20. How do you know your mom loves you? I love you too

21. What does your mom like most about your dad? because he is silly!

22. Where is your mom's favorite place to go? The zoo

23. How old was your Mom when you were born? 29 (pretty close!)

Lily loved her hotel bed. She thought it was neat she got to share a bed with mom every night. She thought the hotel was our new home and was sad when we went back to Utah.

Lucy loves Grandma and Grandpa. As you can tell, the beach was quite chilly!

Bentz and Lily played in the sand together ALL DAY LONG! Best Cousins :)

Lucy is our big baby now! When we got home from our California trip she could suddenly crawl, and she went crazy! She has so much energy and is into everything. She needed to make up for lost time I guess! She is still the snuggliest, happiest baby you'll ever meet and so adorable. Pretty much everyone in the world loves her :). Our friends, Amber's kids are all fighting over who gets to marry her ha ha. Her cousins love her so much and of course us. Lily and Lucy are sweet sisters still and have a very special bond. They are little mischievous pals together.

These 9 month ones are actually from May. She loves the swing just like Lily. She gets really mad at me when I take her out and laughs and laughs while she's in.

Its been 16 years since my Grandma Evans passed away and we still remember her and miss her every day!

Pleasant Grove Carnival. Makes Disneyland seem like a fantastic deal. $9 for 2 rides, but Lily still had fun

We went to see Inside Out. Michael and Lily loved it! Lily didn't move a muscle, just stared. Lucy was crazy so I didn't see much of it :( I guess she is too old to fall asleep and too young to enjoy the show! Just wanted to crawl around and eat other people's popcorn off the filthy floor and was upset I wouldn't let her do so.

Went to the Bean Museum with Ryan and Emmy then to the Creamery for ice cream with Kim too.

Lehi Parade was sooooo hot but the girls loved it and the Stapley trio were some darn cute pirates!

Michael and I got to go on a date to Jurassic World. 3D IMAX = me jumping and screaming whenever a dinosoar looked like he was going to eat me.

Father's Day:
My friend Mickelle made these awesome shirts for us for father's day. Michael's says "Dad since 2012", my dad's is "Dad since 1967" and then "Grandpa since 1988" on the back. Craig's is "Dad since 1970" on the front and "Grandpa since 2000" on the back. We need to add "Great Grandpa since 2012" on the back of my dad's too since he has 2 great grandsons :).
