The last couple of weeks of October we were in full Halloween mode. The girls pretty much wore a Halloween article of clothing or a whole outfit every day. It was fun. Michael got to go to Portland for a teacher's meeting for a few days. Unfortunately he lost the camera there and didn't take any pictures with his phone, so there are no pictures of his trip. He had a fabulous time though. The girls and I missed him like crazy but I was glad he got to take advantage of that opportunity. They had fun going to Voodoo Doughnuts (He brought me back an awesome mug) Going to Powells, which is a ginormous bookstore, eating yummy food, and walking around in the rain. Here are pics of us while he was gone.

Twins! Lucy was pretty mad she wasn't in bed yet. Bedtime is hard without Daddy!
I got really bored one night while Michael was gone and started going through my old pictures to show Lily and I discovered Lucy is my twin!
Here I am at Lily's age. We look a little alike, but she is definitely Michael's daughter :)
Here are some old pics of Michael and I. I sure love him!
The day after Michael got back from Portland we had a Halloween Party with the Maloufs. I made all the kids bring their costumes and dress up for part of it. They usually don't do that. I made up awards for all of them and gave them some of my leftover trophies from teaching piano lessons. Everyone looked so cute! Renee always throws quite a party with lots of cute decorations. We all carved pumpkins too. They have a very artistic family.

Then on Sunday we had a Halloween party with my family, the Stokers. Everyone dresses up for that and we all vote for best costume and my sister Judy gives them a prize. Everyone brought fun Halloween Themed food too.

My sister had a little mermaid costume for Lucy and Lily has one for dress ups so I made them wear them for a little photoshoot. I love Ariel! Lily likes her too. Whenever I ask her what Ariel says she goes, "Ah ah ahhhhhhhhhh ah ah ahhhh!"
My niece Holly and I met at Jaker's Pumpkin Patch with our kids. It is an awesome place in Springville that is free! The kids had fun in the corn pit, the hay mazes, looking at the animals (there was even a kangaroo) and going down a big tunnel slide.

Judy, my sister met us there too for a bit! She is the baby whisperer.

Halloween Night
Halloween Night was a lot of fun. This was the first year Lily really understood what was going on. We went to my parents first to trick or treat (only one other kid came besides us!) then we ate dinner with Chris and Alison and trick or treated with them in their neighborhood. After about 10 houses Lily already had a ton of candy and was starting to get tired so we visited Michael's parents and Aunt Diane in Alpine before heading home for the night. Lucy was a trooper. She just fell asleep while we were walkling around and enjoyed being outside.
