There have been so many nice days in October so far. We went to the park as much as we could!

We went up to Tibblefork to see the leaves before it got too cold. I love living so close to American Fork Canyon. It is always gorgeous up there!

We went to Ernies for lunch before the BYU White Out Game
Hee-Haw's in Pleasant Grove was a really fun place. They have this animal pen with a whole bunch of baby goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens that you can go in with them and feed them and pet them and even pick them up if you dare. We got lost in the corn maze and quickly realized that strollers were a bad idea in there. We had a fun night!

The next week we went to Cornbelly's with Brad and Amber and their kids. Cornbelly's was huge! We were there for 3 and 1/2 hours. It was Wizard of Oz themed and since it has been 75 years since The Wizard of Oz came out they did fireworks which were pretty great too! There was a cute Pumpkin Princess Playland Lily enjoyed, bouncehouses, a corn pit, a huge slide, a big corn maze and tons more. It was a fun night.

Lucy turned 3 months old on the 18th. She is at one of my favorite ages. She is smiley, snuggly, and happy. She is over her colic. She sleeps 11 straight hours at night. Lucy also stays almost exactly where I put her so she is easy to keep track of. She started sleeping in her own room a couple days ago too and is doing great. She is still in her rock n' play sleeper but I plan on moving her to the crib in November and will try to get her on a good napping schedule then too. Right now she just gets dragged along with Lily and I wherever we go and usually naps in her carseat or the swing when we are at home. At least she will sleep in her bed at night! And all night too. We are pretty lucky that way. I figure when the time change comes- and it will be winter anyway so I won't want to leave the house-we can get on a good schedule at home. Maybe I'll even get ambitious enough to potty train Lily! Don't hold your breath though :)

One of my favorite pictures ever. No her father was not Chris Farley :)

This girl sure loves her hands
Lily is our feisty daughter. She cracks us up and keeps us on our toes. She is so cute and spunky and has definitely developed some attitude. I'm glad. She will need it in this world! She has been sick for the last couple weeks with a croupy cough but she doesn't let that get her down. She is still so full of energy and all over the place. She is loving Halloween. She loves to read about it, watch Netflix shows about it, go to pumpkin patches and visit the halloween aisles at stores, and talk about our costumes. Its so fun to see her getting into the holidays. She is a great big sister to Lucy and I can still always count on her for snuggles, kisses, and hugs.

We don't often catch Lily without a Berentstein Bears book in her hands
Since this blog post is so long already I will have to do a whole new one for the rest of the month and Halloween!
