Michael gave our sweet baby Lucy a name and a blessing on September 7th. The day couldn't have gone any more perfectly. Lucy slept peacefully through her blessing, she didn't poop on her dress, and she was happy at the brunch! Michael did a great job too. He sounded so confident and said some beautiful things in her blessing. Her priesthood circle was enormous. We had at least 80 guests! We had a lot of delicious food at the bruncheon and cute decorations all provided by my wonderful family and friends. I didn't bring anything! I didn't have to because everyone was so generous and brought food to share. It was a lovely day for our lovely little Lucy Linda :)

We went to the State Fair. We have been going with Brad and Amber Stapley for the last 5 years! We left baby Lucy with my parents so we could have some one-on-one time with Lily. She loved all the animals and being a little farmer!
I made a photobobook on Shutterfly for a total of $4! Including shipping! It has my maternity pictures of Lucy and our hospital stay and her newborn pictures!

I also made a photobook of her blessing on Costco but I don't know how to share that!
My sister Judy captured some of Lucy's sweet smiles on the couch when she was about 7 weeks old:
Lucy turned 2 months on the 18th! She weighed 11 lbs. 11 oz. (58%) and was 23.7 " (93%) and her head was 38.5 cm (56%). She is a tall girl! She had to have 3 shots and drink something, poor girl. She took it pretty well though. Lucy is really strong and good at holding her head up. She is a great sleeper and eater and is usually a happy girl except for sometimes at night she gets colicky for about an hour or so but I think that is starting to get better too. Here are some cute pictures I took of her before we went to the doctor:
Lucy is simply an adorable baby. We love her so much,. She has brought so much joy to our little family. Its amazing how I thought I could never love anyone as much as my family and then I met Michael. Then I thought I couldn't love anyone as much as him and then I had Lily. Then I thought I could never love anyone as much as Lily and then I had Lucy! Your heart just grows I guess ;) Lucy has found her little voice and likes to tell us stories.

Michael, Lily, and I went to the dentist this month. Michael and Lily were cavity free but I had one they had to take care of :( Lily only let them clean 2 of her teeth but they played around with everything with her to help her get a little more comfortable going to the dentist. Hopefully in 6 months she will let them do everything! She only has 16 teeth so far. She still needs to get 4 molars in! She is a slow teether.
