September 2013

September was a fun month. My brother Ryan and his wife Jayme and their kids came up to Utah for Labor Day weekend. They live in Arizona so we don't to see them as much as we like so it is always exciting and a lot of family time when they come!

On Labor Day we went to Michael's Aunt Joan's house to swim and eat pizza!

We decided to do a free trial of a Parent and Tot's gymnastics class at AF Rec Center! It was fun!

Lily Update: Lily is still a smarty pants and is getting so big! She talks a lot more now, I feel like we have real conversations with each other. She knows who Jesus is and points to his picture and says his name. She loves reading books and sitting on your lap while you read them together. She is very active and has lots of energy! But to balance that out she is also an awesome sleeper (probably from all the playing and plays so well from all the sleeping!) She still uses sign language for almost everything but speaks at the same time. She is usually very happy but can have her meltdowns. She gets time-outs now for about a minute using the 1-2-3 strategy for things like hitting, throwing food, and trying to head dive off the couch. I think she wants to get potty trained because she tells me now before she goes poop and is very interested when I go and even rips of toilet paper for me  ha ha. She likes to give us hugs and pat us on the back (she gets that from me). If she is sad she will come over and pat my back. She loves brushing her teeth, her dog, going to the park, and her grandparents.

We got to got to the zoo this month! It was a really warm day right in the middle of a bunch of cold ones! We had so much fun seeing all the animals and playing with our friends!

Fall is here!

After being in class all day we got to go to the Relief Society Conference at the Conference Center with my mom, all 3 of my sisters, my sister-in-law Nicole, and 3 of my nieces! It was fun! After the conference 9 of us piled into Judy's van and did about 50 U-turns trying to find a place to eat! It was a fun night! I love my these awesome ladies in my life!

It was my first day of not seeing Lily the whole day. She was asleep when I left in the morning and asleep when I got home! Michael got to watch her all day long :) I missed Lily so I was glad when she woke up at about 11:30 at night to give me a goodnight hug and kiss. Thanks Michael for being a great daddy and hubby!
