It's baby month! The month we have been looking forward to since we found out we would be welcoming another little baby in November. The whole month was filled with anticipation for baby Lucy, but we squeezed in some other fun things as well.

| Lily loves reading all the books we got from the library about how to be a big sister :) |
Michael set up Lily's big girl bed and she loves it! We moved the crib, changing table, and rocking chair into baby sister's room and now Lily has a big girl room with lots more space to play and have her toys in there. I was so worried the transition would be hard to go from a crib to a bed, but she has done awesome. She stays in it (for the most part) and waits for us to come in and get her after naps and in the morning. She is sleeping just as long as before! Its great to see her getting so independent.
We found out that teachers can get into Thanksgiving Point venues for free along with their spouse and their kids are half off. Lily is still free anyway. So we went to the Museum of Ancient Life. It was actually very cool. Lily enjoyed it but was in Michael's arms the whole time a little bit freaked out at the same time.
The 4th of July was a great day spent at the Maloufs eating delicious food, playing games, and badminton outside (yes even I played) and homemade chocolate ice cream (yuuuuuuuuuuuum). Then we went to Aunt Joan's to do fireworks since Craig and Renee's house was in a no firework zone. The Shippen's put on an amazing show for us with lots of aerial fireworks. Lily loved them. She kept saying, "whoa". Renee gave her a glow in the dark necklace to wear and she had a glow in the dark wand plus another light up 4th of July toy, so she was very entertained.
Lily and I did mommy and me swimming lessons at the Scera Pool in Orem with our friends Shani and Makadie, Danielle and Jackson, and my neice Holly and great nephew Bentz. It was a blast to see them every day for 2 weeks and swim and play. Holly, our two kiddos, and I would usually stay after and let Lily and Bentz splash and play together for awhile. Lily has started to put her own head under the water in the pool by herself. It is so cute! She loved swimming lessons. I was so glad I could do them with her this year and have the extra one on one time before Lucy came!

| To celebrate their graduation from swimming lessons we got some yummy snow cones! |
It was Lily's best friends Sophie and Beckett's 3rd birthday this month! We celebrated with them twice first going to a swimming pirate/mermaid party for them at Amy's house on the 11th and then Lily got to go to their princess/superhero birthday party the next day. Both were so adorable and fun.

It was Lily's cousin Blake's first birthday this month too. He is the Malouf Miracle boy. Last year we didn't know if he was going to stay with us in this life very long, but he is a strong little man and he pulled through and is one happy, sweet, adorable little boy. He was the best 1 year old cake eater I've seen so far. He ate half of his cake in about 30 seconds! We got to go swimming with the Maloufs and Blake's friends at our Aunt Joan's pool in Alpine. Brittany did a nautical theme and everything turned out darling!
Michael and I went on a last date to see Planet of the Apes and we ate at Cubby's for the first time. Both were amazing! We had a great time. It was nice to have a kid free few hours and just play together.
My niece Cami left on her mission this month! I guess I should call her Hermana Sumsion. She is in the MTC in Mexico City now and will serve her mission in Texas. My sister now has 2 daughters out serving full time missions! I guess that is what she gets for being such an awesome mom.

| Lily's bloody knees after tripping on the cement at swimming lessons. She didn't even cry! |
 |
| Lily's first bandaids (besides from doctor visit shots). She did not like them. She was more upset about them than when she hurt her knees. |
 |
| Michael decided to buzz his head. This is his in-between mohawk. I'm glad he kept going after this haha. |
