Lily's Golden Birthday!

Lily turned 2 on 2-2 :) It's her golden birthday! Our little groundhog baby is getting too big! She enjoyed the whole birthday thing a little more this year! We didn't do anything big. Just celebrated with my family a couple weeks before since my parents were leaving for Arizona for a month and then we celebrated with the Malouf's on her actual birthday which was also Super Bowl Sunday! So she has been celebrating her birthday for awhile. She loves the "Happy Birthday" song and especially my family's added verse "We love you so much!" She got spoiled! Michael and I only gave her 3 presents: a Princess Adventure Hut, a doll that has a potty, and a Minnie Mouse thinger. The rest of our family (ahem, Renee) got her so much stuff! We pretty much need to get Lily her own house to put all of her toys in.

For the Stoker party I decided to make her a monkey cake since she is obsessed with Curious George.

For the Malouf party I made a Winnie the Pooh cake. She loves Pooh! She now has 6 Pooh Bear stuffed animals ha ha. We have all the Winnie the Pooh movies memorized. She calls all bears "Pooh" now. She has a pink Pooh, a red pooh,  and a white Pooh, etc. During the Happy Birthday Song Lily swayed from side to side and clapped. When it was over she kept clapping. Michael is known for his loud, too long clapping. So he encouraged her!

Lily is such a funny, cute little girl. She has so much energy and is always on the go, usually running from place to place. She does love to sit and read and draw too. She is so cuddly and affectionate. She is like me and gives people pat, pat, pat hugs. She is always giving us kisses and will often and randomly throughout the day say, "love you Mom" and give me a kiss. She has a great imagination and is already usually in her own world most of the time. She is amazing at entertaining herself as long as I am close by. She loves to sing and dance now. Her favorites are ABC's, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam, and any Bubble Guppies Song. She is such a joy in our lives and we feel so blessed and lucky to get to be her parents. We love you our Silly Lily Pad Princess!
