Valentine's Day was a fun day for us! We were remembering how last year we couldn't go anywhere because Lily was only 12 days old so Michael's parents dropped off some Pei Wei for us surprising me :). We still had a great time!
This year after seeing all the posts on facebook of cute moms making heart shaped meals for their kids I decided I needed to join in on the fun too! So I put her yogurt melts into a heart and that was her special Valentine's treat, ha ha.
This year we got to go out! My parents watched Lily while Michael and I had an early dinner at Teppanyaki's in Lehi. We love that place! We got our favorite chef too, who always makes us laugh. The food was delicious! I got Filet Mignon with Shrimp and Michael got New York Strip with Shrimp along with the fried rice and noodles and salad and miso soup. We always love everything there. Michael even caught a shrimp in his mouth thrown by the chef (he ALWAYS does), I gave up trying to catch them since I have NEVER even come close in all our trips to Teppanyaki's. We had a lot of fun! Lily had a good time too with her grandparents :). Then we took her to visit Michael's mom, Renee for a bit since Craig is out of town.
When we got home Lily and I were surprised to see a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card and some Reese's for me on the table along with a cute Valentine's outfit and a teddy bear for Lily on the table! I had taken Lily with me to teach piano lessons so Michael snuck home and laid it all out before picking me up for our date. What a sweet husband! I gave him a card and some Reese's as well (we both love them).
The next day Lily and I went to visit Michael during his prep period to show him Lily in the cute outfit he gave her.

I just have to say I am one of the luckiest women in the world. I have 2 great Valentine's who I love so much! Thank you Michael for making this another great one. I love you more every year! Xoxo!!!!
